The Motor City Chapter was founded in 1977 by Patricia Gebhardt who believed that being a Marine was more than a job it was a lifetime commitment to the Corps values.

Our chapter honors Pat by continuing her vision of Marines taking care of Marines. Motor City Chapter runs an Adopt a Marine Program, matching sponsors with Marines who get little or no support. We founded Operation Caring Friends, which send approximately 200 boxes a month to our deployed service members from all branches of the military. We are also the sponsors of the Fallen Warrior Women Marine Memorial Scholarship which honors our women who have made the ultimate sacrifice while deployed in defense of our Nation.

The Motor City Chapter meets on the 2nd Saturday of the Quarter.
